Meet Chef Brycen! Born on Maui, he grew up in his family’s restaurants, learning every role along the way. Brycen found his true passion in the kitchen, mastering cooking basics and honing his knife skills very young.
After serving as a Sous Chef at Merriman’s Maui for three years, Brycen moved away to be closer to family but always felt Hawaii was home. Now he’s been back close to four years and is leading the kitchen, with a passion for quality cuisine, showcasing his commitment to local farmers, fishermen, ranchers, our guests and his team!
This chef truly loves cooking for family and friends, relishing the moment when their eyes light up with joy. “It’s a way to connect with people on a deeper level,” he says.
